Two musical ensembles at 香蕉影视 will be wrapping up the 2008 season soon.
The 香蕉影视 Jazz Ensemble under the direction of Dr. William Hochkeppel will perform April 19 at 7:30 p.m. in the Student Union Ballroom. This free admission event is billed at 鈥淐abaret Night鈥 and will feature table seating, Big Band jazz and refreshments. All refreshments will be sold for $1 with money raised going to fund music programs and scholarships.
The 香蕉影视 Wind Ensemble also under the direction of Hochkeppel will perform May 8 at 7:30 p.m. in Angelle Hall. This free concert will feature music by Fisher Tull, David Maslanka, Leonard Bernstein, Warren Benson, Steven Bryant, Vaughn-Williams and Persichetti.
