Mary Karnath Wins 2010 Jefferson Caffery Award

Mary Karnath of Lafayette is the recipient of the 2010 Jefferson Caffery Award at Ïã½¶Ó°ÊÓ. The Caffery Award competition encourages Ïã½¶Ó°ÊÓ students to conduct scholarly research utilizing primary source materials held in the special collections area of Dupré Library. The competition is open to both graduate and undergraduate students. Karnath is a graduate student studying History. Her winning paper is The University of Ïã½¶Ó°ÊÓ’s Growth under the New Deal’s Public Works Administration.
